Hopkinsville had three wrestlers in the competition at the semi-state event at Owensboro Apollo on Saturday, but none of the Tigers advanced to the KHSAA State Wrestling Championships.
Holden Schneider was sixth at 113 pounds while Ronald McGee was sixth at 145.
Trushaun Matt was seventh at 106 pounds.
In a typical year, the top four wrestlers in each class at the regional tournament advance straight to state. However, because of COVID-19 this year, the KHSAA adjusted the format, adding the semi-state round to cut down on the total number of wrestlers at state.
The state tourney is next Saturday at George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester.
