There has been a change in location for the football season opener for the Hopkinsville Tigers. Athletic department officials announced Tuesday morning that the August 20th game against Louisville Ballard will now be played at the Stadium of Champions.
The game had originally been scheduled to be played at Ballard. However, according to information in a Twitter post Tuesday, Hopkinsville announced that, due to installation issues with the field at Ballard, the game would now be played at the Stadium.
The game will kickoff at 7:30pm.
