COVID Protocols Hit Falcon Football Again

The return of the Fort Campbell Falcons to the football field for a regular-season matchup is going to have to wait a few more weeks at least. School officials told YourSportsEdge.Com Wednesday afternoon that due to COVID protocols, the Falcons would not play until September 10.

The Falcons had been set to open the season Friday night at Muhlenberg County and then host Todd County Central the following Friday night. Both of those games will be canceled due to protocols.

The Falcons’ bye week is set for September 3, which would then have the Falcons returning to action September 10 against Trigg County.

Fort Campbell lost the entire 2020 season due to DoDEA restrictions during the pandemic.
