Heritage Christian Academy scored a season-high six goals and remained unbeaten with a 6-0 road win at Cornerstone Christian Academy Saturday in Shelbyville.
Carlos Robles provided a hat trick for the Warriors. Vova West added a pair of goals and an assist, and Emilie Young also tallied a goal.
Kris Ruth and Walker Ashby added assists for HCA.
While the offense had its best outburst of the season, it was business as usual for the Warrior defense. HCA has allowed just one goal in three games this season.
Ashby and Ruth combined for the win in goal.
HCA, ranked second in this week’s KCAA Power Poll, is now 1-0-1 in KCAA play. The Warriors will step outside of conference play Tuesday when they host Pleasant View, Tenn. in their home opener.
