The Christian County boys’ soccer team (0-1-1), ranked 12th in the YourSportsEdge.com boys’ soccer rankings, played to a draw at Owensboro Catholic on Tuesday. Senior forward Luis Macario got the Colonels off to a quick start in the 5th minute when he scored off an assist from junior midfielder Luke Ferrell. However, only 2 minutes later Owensboro Catholic equalized, and the defenses held firm for the rest of the night.
Colonels’ Coach Arne Seeger stated his team missed some good opportunities, but fought hard until the end. Seeger was pleased with the improvement he saw in his team since last week. Christian County returns to action on August 26th when it travels to Paducah Tilghman (1-1-1).
