The Hopkinsville High Archery Team has steadily improved over the past two months, capped off by a high score at the Todd County Rebel Shootout last week.
Chandler Neighbors finished fourth among the male shooters with a score of 287. Nathan Morris (282) was sixth, and Daniel Coombs (277) was 14th.
Mary Poe shot a 282 to finish fifth among the females followed by Lanie Brumfield (282) in fifth place and Katie Little (279) in seventh place.
Hopkinsville topped 3,300 points for the first time all season and finished in second place behind Muhlenberg County.
Hoptown will try and keep their momentum going Saturday as they compete in the KHSAA Region 2 Meet at Logan County High School.
