Falcons’ Keeling Sets Personal Best in High Jump

Austin Keeling set a personal best and won the high jump by a half-foot at the Invitational of the South Track Meet Saturday at Murray State University. The Fort Campbell junior also took fourth place in the triple jump and long jump helping the Falcons to an eighth-place finish.

Fort Campbell’s girls took 13th at the meet.

Here are the top 20 finishers for Fort Campbell at the meet:

BOYS

Austin Keeling won the high jump (6-4); was fourth in the long jump (19-09.50) and fourth in the triple jump (40-07.50)
Damian Bowe was second in the 300-meter hurdles (43.97); third in the 110-meter hurdles (16.03); and 11th in the triple jump (36-00.75)
Jhony Paniagua was sixth in the pole vault (9-0)
Ahmaad Barnette was 13th in the high jump (5-0)
Gabe Gamez was 17th in the 1600-meter run (5:27.71)
Kenyon Ward was 17th in the long jump (17-10.75)
Rafael Cerritos was 18th in the 400-meter dash (57.71)
Joseph Mungin was 19th in the 800-meter dash (2:23.91)
Camden Hyde was 20th in the 300-meter hurdles (56.75)
