Since the summer baseball season got underway, Drew McGowan has been playing pretty well. Saturday night, he led the Kentucky Prospects Donald 17U team to a win in walk off fashion.
McGowan’s one out single in the bottom of the 7th inning drove in two runs and capped off a six run rally over the last two innings as the Prospects beat the MT Outlaws Peck 6-5.
In addition to his late game heroics, McGowan, a UHA senior to be, was 1-4 on the game with two RBIs. Christian County’s Lane Diuguid was 2-3 with a run scored.
Diuguid also pitched three innings of the game in relief, going three innings, giving up no runs, no hits, striking out four and walking none.
