A tough way to open the season Friday night for the Caldwell County Tigers. The Tigers went on the road and lost the opening game of the Jerry Claiborne Bowl to the Christian County Colonels 11-6.
Caldwell County senior Caleb Burden had a big night for the Tigers on the defensive side of the ball. Burden had 14 tackles and came up with a fumble recovery .
For his efforts in the game, Burden was named the Farmers Bank & Trust Player of the Game. Congrats to Caleb for a great effort.
