Christian County freshman Megan Lacy found herself in the right spot at the right time in Thursday night’s 8th District championship game, heading home off a cross from Lilly Larkins to cut the UHA lead to 3-1. The Lady Colonels’ comeback fell short, but Lacy took time afterward to talk about her goal and what it means to be a part of the team to take the program back to the regional tournament for the first time in 6 years.
