The Caldwell County High School volleyball program added to its list of college signees on Wednesday.
Senior Sheadon Allen signed to continue her volleyball career at Rend Lake College.
Allen has been a cornerstone for the Lady Tiger program the last three years, finishing fourth on Caldwell’s career kills list. She totaled 696 kills, including 393 this past season as the Lady Tigers compiled a 24-10 and reached the 2nd Region semifinals before falling to eventual regional champion Henderson County.
Caldwell was 27-10 two years ago, reaching the regional championship game before falling to Henderson.
Rend Lake is a National Junior College Athletic Association school in Ina, Ill.
The Warriors volleyball team went 7-29 last season.
Allen is the 17th Lady Tiger to sign to play college volleyball since 2007.
She is the daughter of Steve and Stephanie Allen.
