Being a three-sport athlete is hard enough. But when a parent is your coach in two of the three sports, it can be even tougher. But not for University Heights Academy’s Lily Hendricks.
The Lady Blazer junior has earned all-district honors on the basketball court, all-region and all-district honors in volleyball, and all-area honors in track and field. Her coach in volleyball and track is her mother Faye.
Lily, a 4.0 student, has shown a high-level of balance both on and off the court. She talks about that balance and how she wants to be remembered at UHA as this week’s Spotlight Athlete.
