Jadyn Hicks was on his way to four top two finishes at the Region I Swim Meet Saturday. After winning the 200-yard freestyle, he was not happy with his time and slung his goggles off in disgust. Meet officials saw this as an act of unsportsmanlike conduct and disqualified him after awarding him the first place medal. He says he used the event to fuel him the rest of the day and adds a lesson was learned.
