The Heritage Christian Academy baseball team fell 13-3 to Highlands Latin in the KCAA State Championship game on Saturday, but it wasn’t all bad news for the Warriors.
Senior infielder Josh Jones was named KCAA’s Mr. Baseball after a season where he hit .623 with 34 RBI and 2 home runs. Jones posted a .640 on-base percentage and had 43 hits, while only striking-out three times.
