The Madisonville-North Hopkins boys cross country team secured a Top 10 finish over the weekend. The Maroons ran at the Marshall County Invitational. Alex Pendley led the Maroon runners with an 18th place finish.
Host school Marshall County took first place in the boys meet, while Trigg County placed second.
Madisonville boys finishes were:
Alex Pendley – 09:12.33 – 18th place
Nicholas Tooley – 09:34.68 – 36th place
Andrew Potocnik – 10:02.85 – 54th place
Ayden McDonald – 10:35.96 – 73rd place
Mitchell Mayes – 10:55.71 – 84th place
Madisonville had one girls runner at the event. Kamarie Wiles finished 23rd in the girls’ race with a time of 12:16.65.
