Chance Jones led the Hopkinsville cross country runners Saturday at the Fenton Dawson Invitational in Cadiz. Jones finished in fourth place in the early race held at West Cadiz Park.
Senior Chase Atkins was running in the Greater Louisville Invitational Saturday, finishing seventh overall.
Jones covered the 3.1-mile course in a personal best time of 17:37 to finish in fourth place. Quinn Miller brought home a 10th place finish for the Tigers, completing the course in 18:58.
Ross Binkley finished 17th in 18:55, with Jonathan Bridges coming in 62nd.
With Atkins running in Louisville, the Tigers didn’t have enough runners to field a complete team.
