The Apollo E-Gals picked up their third win over an 8th District team in a four day span Monday evening. Apollo traveled to Hopkinsville and came away with the straight set win over the Lady Tigers.
Apollo got control of the match early on in the evening. The E-Gals took the opening set 25-13 to go up 1-0 in the match.
The E-Gal kept things moving along in the their direction during the second set. Apollo rolled to a 25-10 win to take a 2-0 set lead.
Apollo then closed things out with another strong performance in the third set. The E-Gals finished with a 25-17 win to take the match.
Over a four day span, Apollo has now beaten UHA twice and Hopkinsville once.
For the Lady Tigers, who fall to 3-11 with the loss, they now prepare for a big 8th District showdown Thursday night, when they host University Heights. The Lady Blazers took a straight set win in the season opener for both teams back on September 8th.
