After a tight game for three quarters Tuesday night in Elkton, the Todd County Central girls’ basketball team turned up the defensive intensity over the final eight minutes to top visiting Christian Fellowship 60-49.

Neither team led by more than 3 points in the third quarter, with Christian Fellowship moving in front 42-39 after a corner 3-pointer by Howard.  Abby Williams knocked down a short jumper and added two free throws to push the Lady Rebels back in front by a point with a quarter to play.
