Caldwell County High School senior Savannah Scott finds a way to serve whether she’s in the classroom or outside the classroom … or on the volleyball court.
Scott has been on the Lady Tiger volleyball team for five years and was a key contributor to last year’s 2nd Region championship squad.
She has served as a class vice president for the past three years and is a member of numerous organizations through the high school such as FBLA, SWAT team, Yearbook Staff and National Honor Society.
Scott has maintained a 4.0 GPA the past three years and even had the opportunity to attend the Governor’s Scholars Program this past summer.
In addition, she babysits throughout the school year and summer, and also works at MJ’S Latte’s.
Scott is an active member of the Southside Baptist Church youth group and is part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
“My sophomore year I was on the FCA leadership team where we contacted people to come and speak at the FCA meetings, and participated in other community service projects,” Scott noted.
“I also am a leader of Caldwell Crazies and never miss an opportunity to attend other sporting events.”
Scott discusses this year’s Lady Tiger volleyball team and some of the things she did over the summer in this YSE interview.
