Travis Perry had to grind out his first trip to the All A Classic State Golf Tournament in Richmond Sunday. The Lyon County sophomore shot an 11-over-par 83 to finish in 41st place.
Perry had two birdies on the front nine and went out with a score of 39. However, the fairways were tougher to hit on the back nine of Gibson Bay Golf Course in Richmond.
Perry shot a 44 on the back nine to finish with a score of 83.
McKean Collins of Lexington Christian Academy shot a 4-under par 68 to claim first place.
