The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons had the chance to win their second volleyball match of the season Monday night. However, Kenwood High School had a little something to say about that and upended the Lady Falcons in a tough five-set match.
Fort Campbell came out rolling in the match taking the opening set 25-16.
Kenwood then seemed to seize control of the match, as they took the second set in a commanding 25-11 win. Kenwood then took the third set 25-22 and appeared to have things going their way with a 2-1 lead in the match.
The Lady Falcons rebounded to take the fourth set 25-19 and force the fifth set.
Kenwood would outlast the Lady Falcons 15-11 in that 5th set to close out the match 3-2.
Fort Campbell will return to action Thursday when they host Trigg County. The Lady Falcons lone win so far this season came at Trigg County back on September 9.
