
Camryn LaGrange scored four goals and dished out three assists while Raelynn Blanford had a hat trick as Madisonville-North Hopkins claimed the girls’ 7th District soccer championship Wednesday night.
Lillie Carman had a goal and five assists as the Lady Maroons pulled away from Hopkins County Central for a 9-1 triumph in Madisonville.
Kennedy Justice added a goal and Madison Hill had an assist for the Lady Maroons.
Carman’s goal came in the 10th minute to get the scoring started in the contest.
LaGrange had two first-half goals as Madisonville took a 3-0 lead to halftime.
The Lady Maroons (14-5-1) went up 6-0 in the second half before the Lady Storm (11-9) got on the scoreboard on a Callie Mackey goal to break up the shutout.
Both teams will play in next week’s 2nd Region tournament, which will be hosted by Madisonville-North Hopkins.
