A late penalty kick goal by McLean County helped them edge Lyon County Monday in Eddyville. The game-winner came with less than two minutes left.
Freshman Sydney Hoffman scored the lone goal for Lyon County, who dropped to 1-5 with the loss. The Lady Lyons will host Trigg County Thursday in Eddyville. The win was McLean’s first in five contests this season.
