The Trigg County volleyball team won in straight sets over the visiting Fort Campbell Lady Falcons on Monday night. The scores of the sets were 25-17, 25-5, and 25-11. The win comes on Trigg’s senior night, when the team honored Lauren Oliver and Nyree Wilson.
Trigg County now stands at 10-12 on the season and returns to the court Tuesday at Crittenden County (3-11). When the Lady Wildcats host Caldwell County (16-8) on Thursday it will be Dig Pink night at the Trigg gym in honor of Cancer Awareness. The Lady Wildcats will wear pink shirts and both teams will honor those they know who were lost to or are fighting cancer.
