Hopkinsville infielder Caleb Bapp has been selected as one of three Second Region players to participate in the Kentucky Sophomore All-Star Game next month in Louisville.
Bapp is hitting .292 for the Tigers with 14 RBIs and an on-base percentage of .455. He also has 16 stolen bases.
Also named to the squad from the Second Region were Madisonville teammates Jon Hogart and Gunner Dameron. Henderson County’s Spencer Bartlett and Trigg County’s Hayden Cunningham were named alternates.
The sophomore all-star game and showcase will be played June 19 at PRP High School in Louisville. The West team will be coached by Carlisle County’s Hunter Burgess.
