Anna Blane, Sloan Hampton, and Rheagan Lindsey claimed the top three spots in the Girls 13-15 Division Wednesday at Central City Country Club.
The 13th Annual Greater Owensboro (GO) Golf Series got underway this week with two events.
On Wednesday, the series made a stop at the Central City Country Club. Sisters Rheagan and Conlee Lindsey each won their age group. Rheagan shot a 49 to win the Girls 13-15 Division. Anna Blane shot a 52 to finish second, and Sloan Hampton shot a 65 to finish third.
Conlee shot a 48 to win the Girls 11-12 Division. Cate Blane was one shot back in second place, and Anna Fort was third with a 53. Abby-Grace Forbes shot a 55 to finish in fourth place.
Elsewhere, Brady Hightower won the Boys 9-10 Division with a score of 39. Campbell Lindsey finished second in the Girls Under 8 Division with a score of 24 over three holes. Max Falco finished second in the Boys Under 8 Division with a score of 24.
Joey Falco finished fifth in the Boys 11-12 Division with a score of 51. Harlow Hampton finished 10th with a score of 67.
In the Boys 13-15 Division, Jiles Wyatt shot an 80 to finish second, seven shots behind the winner James Soderling of Central City. Nolan Noffsinger shot an 83 to finish third. Elijah Forbes was fifth with a score of 87, Will Binkley (92) was seventh, and Micah Smith (96) was ninth.
The GO Series got underway Tuesday at the Pearl Club at the Summit in Owensboro.
Conlee Lindsey won the Girls 11-12 Division with a score of 52 over nine holes. Rheagan Lindsey finished fourth in the 13-15 Division with a score of 50, while Sloan Hampton was seventh with a score of 67.
In the Boys 13-15 Division, Evan Pyle finished third with a score of 51 over nine holes. He finished four shots behind the winner Shelton Smith of Westview.
In the Boys 11-12 Division, Harlow Hampton finished 14th with a score of 73.
In the Boys’ Six-Hole Division, Brady Hightower won with a score of 32.
The GO Series makes a stop in Russellville Friday.
